Development an interest in art culture as a commerce

How engage audience in art?

How increaseย visual art popularity through progressive culture not involving stereotypes of entertainment…

For a long time i’m inspired with Art Basil Exhibition. I am following several art galleries performances there as well as particular artists exhibited at the event. The aim of Art Basil Exhibitions is to collect artists, collectors and gallerists around the world, unite them and give them opportunity to talk about issues which are important for them personally in terms of art.

This conversation inspired me to work on ideas to connect visual art lessons to other sciences as are:

  • math – relating to art on economic terms, how to gain profit;
  • history – draw the line in art development and humanity history, taking closer look on museums;
  • literature – how to see connection between drama and literature and how visual art can support it;
  • geography – analyse the difference between artistic patterns in different cultures, respect the diversity.

I believe it is difficult for children and even more challenging for their parent to see visual arts as decent subject, mostly people can’t see it as a source of profit and perceive it as a fun activity to have a brake from “real” studies. In terms of future planning i’d like to appreciate more time go my lessons to prove them wrong and show the other side of art industry.

So thinking ofย increasing visual art popularity through progressive culture not involving stereotypes of entertainment i’ll try to use the connections mentioned above.
